The Blue cave, located under the city of Castro and a hundred meters from the Zinzulusa cave, is a cave in Salento that can only be reached by boat.
The name derives from the cobalt blue color that the water takes on thanks to the refraction of light on the rock face.
It is not a very large cave, indeed, it is just under 7 meters high and 15 meters deep. The water depth is on average approximately 15m.
