The Shell Cave is a classic example of a sea cave that can only be reached by sea.
Set in the Mulino d'Acqua bay, together with the Sfondata cave, they make this bay more evocative than it already is.
The entrance to the cave faces east so in the early hours of the day it is very bright and the crystal clear water takes on colors that vary from blue to green.
Inside it, on the left side, there is a semi-submerged tunnel that you can swim through: a very suggestive swim!
